Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hello interested people! I am excited to be starting a recipe blog to share not only my favorites with you, but also have a spot where friends, family, and myself can continually look back and hopefully find what we are looking for to make masterpiece.

Since it is the first post, it is obvious I should start with a favorite because it could be the first and last post all in one. So here it is, the best chocolate chip cookie recipe... ever. Feel free to disagree with me, because there are a lot of amazing chocolate chip cookie recipes out there and everyone has different opinions. However, the reason this is a favorite is because not only do they taste great, but so far everyone who has tried them thinks so too!

The "secret" is it out! I would love to take credit for this wonderful mix of ingredients. However, I found this recipe card at a young age (my mom has made these forever) with my Auntie Sandi's name in the top right corner. All credit to the amazing woman! It has been a favorite amongst family and friends for as long as I can remember.

If there is one tip I could give you, it would be to buy a Silpat baking sheet. It is a great investment. Silpat can be used for anything, even vegetables, and quite easily can make the biggest difference in making quality baked goods including chocolate chip cookies.
